We take your farm data seriously. Here is exactly how we handle it.
What data we collect
We collect the farm records you enter — animal details, milk records, health events and breeding data. We also collect your phone number and email for account management and SMS reminders.
How we use your data
Your farm data is used only to provide the KilimoDairy service to you. We use your phone number to send SMS reminders you have configured. We never sell your data to third parties.
Data security
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We use AWS infrastructure in the Africa (Cape Town) region. Access to your data is restricted to you and your authorised farm workers.
Your rights
You can export all your farm data at any time from your dashboard. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting support@kilimo.dairy. We will process deletion requests within 7 days.
SMS reminders
By registering, you consent to receiving SMS reminders for events you configure — calving, vaccination and heat detection. You can disable SMS reminders at any time from your account settings.
